He believes that since he is still unable to sit down without feeling restless, which is due to his ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder with or without hyperactivity) as well as his OCD, exercising is an excellent way to overcome these problems.

You can find Mandel running on a treadmill almost every day to give his mind the relaxation it needs to get through the day without feeling hyperactive. In order to cope with this problem, he regularly works on different projects at the same time, to make sure that he’s always busy. According to him, keeping himself occupied gives him a lot of pleasure, avoiding the monotony in his life.

The diet is the key.

Nutrition is also very important to Mandel, although he may not be talking about it as much as he does about running. He says he was a big fan of fast food in his 20s, and luckily, as he got older, he realized that it wasn’t a healthy choice and he had to consider making some changes.

Mandel was not motivated to make changes in his eating habits, but after learning that he had high cholesterol, he’s now counting calories and measuring his portions. Thing that he never regrets.
